But they are no longer here to defend our Constitutional freedoms and heritage - that is our responsibility. In October 1999 Festival of Light and Australians for Constitutional Monarchy held a seminar on the Constitution: its formation and function, the role of the Governor-General and the issues related to the republic referendum.
